Given climate scenario, students write news-style headline.

Groups choose "What if?" scenario (challenge/solution/hope).

Brainstorm Story Elements
Brainstorm world details, character, challenge, and goal for their climate story.

Write Speculative Fiction Story
Students write short speculative fiction story with "What if?" premise, vivid world-building, character with goal, and turning point showing problem solved or hope appearing.
Students share stories.
- What "What if?" premises did you explore?
- What creative solutions emerged in the stories?
- What common themes do you notice?
- What feelings do these stories evoke?
- How does imagination help us solve problems?
