Materials Needed
- • Paper; various sizes and colors, including newspaper, magazine pages, construction paper
- • Scissors
- • Glue
- • Drawing supplies: markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc.
- • Large shared surfaces: poster board, large sheet(s) of paper, or cardboard
- • Found objects: small, safe, and interesting items (e.g., bottle caps, fabric scraps, buttons, snippets of text) (Optional)

Brainstorm ingredients of good partnership using treehouse metaphor. Generate keywords (trust, teamwork, different skills, sharing, plan, common goal).

Create Collaborative Collage
Small groups (3-4) create large collaborative collage telling partnership story. Work together choosing materials, taking turns adding elements, embracing randomness and unexpected combinations.

Groups share collages with class.

Discuss Collaboration
Discuss how different ideas came together, challenges of collaboration, surprising/fun parts, and connection to Global Goal 17.
