Groups receive Inclusion/Exclusion Scenario Cards, brainstorm character, scenario details, journal voice, and wishes/hopes.

Explore Journal Writing Techniques

Review clear voice/perspective, vivid sensory descriptions, and deeper thoughts/reflections for making entries feel real.

Write Journal Entries

Students write fictional journal entries (1-2 paragraphs) from character perspective experiencing inequality situation.
