Students form circle and pass object (plastic bottle).

Make Sounds or Say Words

Making sounds or saying words describing the object or its journey.

Create Storyboard

Groups create 3-panel storyboard showing object production/use, end of life/waste, and solution/hope for second life.

Create Slam Poem/Chant

Groups create 30-60 second slam poem/chant based on storyboard, using rhythm, repetition, powerful voices, and showing journey from problem to solution.

Perform Slam Poems

Groups perform their slam poems using voices, bodies, and rhythm to make messages powerful.
Discuss stories heard, use of rhythm/repetition, powerful messages about responsibility, and feelings about Global Goal 12.
